Why Software Testing to be must known for all: By Nex-G Skills

software testing training
Software Testing
I thought all of us are using more new softwares day by day than you even know. Did you ride in a car? Did you use a smart phone? Did you play a video game? Did you fly on an airplane? Did you send an e-mail on your tablet or PC? Did you go SCUBA diving? Did you go from one floor to another in an elevator while at the mall and many more? In fact, most of the software used in those activities are more complex and sophisticated than the software used in the Apollo moon mission, and often even more so than the software used by the Space Shuttle.

What is software testing? Well, basically, it’s trying software before it is released to customers and users. Testers want to know if the software gives the right answers and does the right things. Banking applications must accurately track your money. Instagram should upload and display the right images. Testers also want to know if the software behaves properly in other ways, beyond just functionality. Online shopping must be secure so that malicious people—sometimes called hackers—can’t steal credit card information or even identities. Massively multiplayer games must reliably and quickly support thousands or even millions of users seamlessly and quickly.

Software isn’t always properly tested. Sometimes bugs slip past the project teams that create the software, affecting end users. Sometimes that’s just inconvenient, such as when your smart phone crashes. Sometimes it’s expensive, such as when banks or online stores get hacked and people steal money. Sometimes it’s much more tragic, such as when medical devices, elevators, and other important systems fail. Software quality is so important to the world now, because every aspect of people’s lives, from the mundane to the essential, relies on quality software.

iOS and Android development has changed a lot in the past couple of years where the real changes are just breaking through now. The world needs more software testers, because the world needs better software! If you choose this fascinating and challenging career, you can help make that a reality. Testing professionals who are learning about software testing want to know about how they can provide traceability among various tests, features, bugs and report on their testing progress. They’ve never worked on a team that guides development with examples and tests, and they want to know how to manage their manual and automated test cases.

Considerable Digital Marketing Trends in 2015 by Nex-G

digital marketing training
Digital Marketing Trends
It's a new year and it's important for marketers to take stock of not only where the space is today, but where things are going. Here some major trends for digital marketing pros to keep an eye on this year.

1. Rising consumer spending and digital marketing budgets will fuel investment in advanced customer experiences: This one is supported by quite a bit of data we gathered in 2014 (see Gartner for Marketing Leaders Research Survey Results, 2014 (subscription required)), particularly the finding that eighty-nine percent of companies surveyed plan to compete primarily on the basis of the customer experience by 2016. Combined with recent U.S. economic indicators signaling growth in 2015, this means most enterprises can count on the availability of funds and mandates to innovate around customer experiences, especially digital ones.

2. Mobile will continue to Soar: Anyone in retail knows that mobile is big and only going to get bigger. But there are very specific challenges with mobile marketing that the field hasn’t found solutions for. eMarketer reported last month that mobile search is set to surpass desktop in 2015—though the ROI will continue to trail behind desktop search for advertisers. Banner ads, thought to be the ugly stepchildren of advertising platforms, still account for 97% of mobile ads. Basics like having a mobile responsive site have actually become the norm, and the mobile usage will only increase from here.

3. Native ads: Native advertising was perhaps the breakout marketing trend of 2014, and is likely to continue to evolve this year. As audience targeting gets more sophisticated, it makes sense that the two will be intrinsically connected going forward. When marketers are able to better target their audience, native ads can become more sophisticated.

For example, Facebook recently rolled out a "custom audience" product for brands to interact more easily with loyal customers about new products and offers—and it's been very successful thus far. TechCrunch reports that this idea of 'who you are' will push out the 'what are you doing' mindset of audience targeting, making it easier for native advertisers to reach the most engaged consumers possible. The more loyal a consumer is, the easier it will be to determine the best native ads to display for a particular person.

4. Private messaging: It's not all excitement and new beginnings in the industry: Some trends should make marketers a bit worried. Take the rise of private messaging in 2014. Snapchat had a meteoric rise, Facebook Messenger hit 500 million monthly active users, and anonymous apps like Whisper and Secret also gained popularity. Marketers are going to have to rethink their social media tactics to advertise to these mystery audiences, which they should be doing anyway, according to Forrester.

Snapchat has begun experimenting with video ads but, as AdAge reports, the very nature of the app is likely to send its users running if the advertising becomes too intrusive. It's unlikely social sharing will go completely private, especially within a year, but the trend is certainly one to keep an eye on.

5. Ad spending on social networks will increase: Being a person who always advocates content based organic marketing, this may come as a surprise for many. But, the fact is that, there is no other option left.

A company’s Facebook page has converted more like a broadcasting channel for the brand, and non-paid campaigns can bury your posts into history, very soon. If a brand needs its massive presence on Facebook or any other social network quickly, then it will have to spend.
The budget can be minimal to start with, but there is no alternative left. Targeted, theme based campaigns combined with an advertisement budget is the secret recipe which can help businesses to stay alive on social networks. The budget may vary as per the business objectives, but it has to be there.

6. Everthing will be personalized by Allan Blair, head of strategy, Tribal Worldwide, London: Brands have finally figured out how to use big data and I predict that personalization will be the marketing buzzword of 2015. Anything and everything that can be personalized in 2015 will be.

Consumers will be offered the opportunity to create, share and buy personalised products and services, and brands will be using the big data they have been collecting on their customers to then serve customers relevant individual content wherever they are in their user journey (website, customer relationship management (CRM), social and in-store).

Every brand will be clamouring to do this and by the end of the year we will be asking questions about brand intrusion (is it creepy) and brand consistency (does it lead to fragmented brand messaging).

The National Big Data Hadoop Workshop in Delhi NCR by Nex-G Skills

bigdata hadoop training
Big Data Workshop in Delhi NCR
Nex-G Skills' Workshop on Big Data will be held on December 21, 2014 in Delhi NCR, India.

The objective of "The Big Data Movement" workshop is to make progress towards development of industry standard application-level benchmarks for evaluating hardware and software systems using Hadoop tools for big data applications.

Why the sudden demand in this sector?
The explosion of large amount of data from various channels, variety, and velocity has given rise to immense potential of finding new and valuable insights in every field of business.

Scope for Data Analysts in India:
It is about identifying the information needs relevant to a business context or to fetch and organize data to address such needs, data professionals are increasingly playing a valuable role. Since India has always been seen as a technology outsourcing hub, so is true, when it comes to analyzing the data using analytics and big data technologies. Companies all around the globe are looking to hire specialists who can do the task. Hence, the scope for data analysts and data scientists is huge.

How can technology make a transformational impact on businesses, society and individuals?
Today’s world (nation, businesses, society, and individuals) is greatly impacted by the technology and the rapid technological changes. It is increasingly being consumed at both the business and individual levels. The same applies to the analytics and big data technologies too. Businesses now realize the endless possibilities that analytics using big data technologies can bring to them. The sophisticated analytics technologies can help businesses make their data more effective for them; enable better decision making through richer and broader data sets; help in narrower segmentation of customer for targeted marketing; and open new business opportunities by developing new and innovative products/services.

What are some of the key sectors where data analysts are needed?
Data analysts, with the right set of skill sets and expertise, are in demand in a wide range of industries where business are realizing the potential of enabling analytics in their organization. Some of the industries are: medical/health-care, manufacturing, finance, retail and e-commerce, IT, etc.

Is the percentage hike in salaries a global phenomenon?
Analytics is one of the fastest growing practice and a great surge in demand has led to rise in rewards for professionals in this field. However, this has attracted hordes of ill-prepared professionals carrying the moniker of data analyst or data scientist which has indeed resulted in some caution by the hiring organizations. Thus the rise is more significant in case of people who have proven skills and credentials.

Do you think it's a good career for women as well?
Anyone with right skills can build a great career in this sector.

One word of advice for those who want to pursue a career as a data analyst?
A good analyst can discover hidden patterns and correlations about an organisation’s customers, processes, etc in order to gain a competitive edge. Analysts often work closely with executives, and collect information from different data sources, organize, and analyze it to enable valuable insights towards solving problems or achieving goals. Thus, anyone planning to pursue a career as a data analyst should build strong analytical and statistical capabilities, a reputation for integrity, an eye for detail, gain knowledge of the industry in which that person is going to work.

Bridging the Skill Gap Worldwide by Nex-G Skills

nexg skill development
Nex-G Skill Development Programs
India stands at a critical juncture today, with strong economic growth and a young population that offers an opportunity few countries have. However shortage of an appropriately skilled workforce is emerging as a significant and alarming issue to India's growth and future, and this is happening across many industries. India Inc. requires nearly 12.8 million new skilled workers to join different industry verticals every year, while India's education and vocational training system churns out a paltry 3-4 million annually.

Given the current high-paced growth and dynamic investment climate in India, the demand for candidates with high levels of technical and soft skills will only increase. With expansion taking place across sectors: IT/ITES, Telecom, Mobility, Automobile sectors there's a huge need for skilled candidates.

Hence, this growing skill-gap needs to be addressed urgently, as India Inc. strives to maintain its position in the global marketplace. As a result, more and more employers are investing in training programmes, to enable their employees and business operations to be more competitive.

To manage this massive skill gap, recruitment and training firms like Nex-G Skills is coming into being. With a vision of proving itself as a forerunner among training companies across globe, the organisation's focus is to assist clients in skill enhancement, enabling them improving productivity.

Says S.S. Bhowmick, CIO, Nex-G Exuberant Solutions Pvt Ltd. "Skilling/training/coaching must be mandatory for every industry professional. There are two essential component of training: - 1)Sticking to basics. 2) Learning new advancement in the system. At Nex-G, our aim is to build ultimate professionals championing in the domain of Competence Development across industries worldwide."

The Indian Information Technology industry, considered the country's backbone is experiencing a serious shortage of skilled professionals. A latest SkillSoft surveys says, 81% of professionals in India insist that skill training in cloud solutions is required for their career advancement. 31% of decision makers rated their organization under prepared to leverage Big Data.

Having trained several IT professionals on various technological trends, Adarsh Kumar Singh, Senior Manager IT, talks about one of the milestones achieved by Nex-G in last 12 yrs.in this sector. "We trained more than 200 batches in Delhi and world wide including Wireless, Telecom technology, Mobility, IT, GIS, Sattalite, Bigdata Hadoop, Cloud Computing and more.

Although, the Indian Telecom industry has emerged as one of the greatest economic success stories becoming the 2nd largest and fastest growing market, there's a growing disconnect between the needs of the employees and the skills that are available in the job market today.

In an effort to narrow the existing gap between demand and supply of skills along with creating a viable ecosystem to develop a competency based framework, Nex-G trained many industry people and overseas employees to improve their competencies on data related technologies.

A training project of 20 batches across India in 'Future of Data' and its increasing influence on customers and service providers was conducted based on explaining the differences between the different generations of telecommunications technologies i.e. 2G, 3G & 4G, Telecom Network Architecture and their significance for the sales person and the customer.

Apart from technical skills specific to industries, Nex-G has gained Red Herring 2012 and Excellence Award 2012 for Educational programmes. Candidates may have the qualifications and 'hard skills' needed to be able to manage the job role but without a well-honed set of 'soft skills', employees are less inclined to hire.

Here, Mr. Bhowmick emphasizes the importance of soft skills in the present corporate set-up, "Employers these days, while hiring candidates look beyond experience and qualifications. For a candidate to be employable, it must have good grasp of both technical as well as soft skills. He further adds, "We would like to utilize our corporate exposure in skilling fresh graduates as well as experienced candidates in preparing them for the modern corporate world in terms of Technology, sales and good attitude".

Android 5.0 Lollipop: More Features KitKat Is Missing Says Nex-G

Android Lollipop Review
Android Lollipop Review
Android 5.0 Lollipop is here, and that means a mad scramble is about to occur, as manufacturers all rush to update their existing phones to the new version of Google’s operating system. The time finally arrived when our Android OS would get a quick makeover and offer us with either some simple; or extravagant changes.

Android chief Sundar Pichai had earlier said that, this is the largest and most ambitious release on Android to date. Here are the best features announced in the latest Android OS:

1. Multiple Device Compatibility: Lollipop will support devices with different screen sizes including wearables such as smartwatches, TVs and cars. According to Google, it is designed to be flexible, so that it can work on all your devices and customised for your needs.

2. Material Design: In order to maintain a consistent design experience across all Android devices, Lollipop uses the Material Design interface across devices it runs on.With Material Design, elements can dynamically shrink and expand, there’s more white space between elements, and gives a 3D appearance overall.

3. Inbuilt Flashlight: Without installing any third-party apps, users can simply use the flashlight by pulling down the notification panel. Make sure your smartphone has an LED flash.

4. Updated Camera: Lollipop makes it easier to support features like burst mode and fine settings tuning. You’ll be able to capture full resolution frames around 30fps, and shoot in raw formats like YUV and Bayer RAW. There’s also support for UHD 4K video playback, tunneled video for high quality video playback on Android TV and improved streaming. Lollipop adds professional features to control settings for the sensor, lens and flash per individual frame.

5. Improved Security: Share your device securely with guest user mode, create multiple user accounts to enable friends to log in on your device. In either case, no one will be able to access your private files. There’s Android Smart Lock to secure your phone or tablet by pairing it with a trusted device like your wearable or even your car. Google has enforced the SELinux security module for all apps to give better protection against vulnerabilities and malware.

6. Battery Settings: There’s a new battery-saver feature that extends the life of your device by up to 90 minutes—helpful if you’re far from a power outlet. It’s also easier to manage your power usage. The OS adds a feature which gives the estimated time left before you need to charge and, when it’s charging, it tells you approximately how much time it will need to charge before it’s ready to go.

7. Guest User: We all have people around us who lay their hands on our phones. Thankfully, Android Lollipop helps us with this issue. Just like different Users in Windows, Lollipop gives you the liberty to add guest users or even create a profile for a friend/relative. This way, you can limit the amount of information that others can view. You can add a guest by simply going to Settings – Users – Add Guest.

8. Updated Notifications Screen: You can now view and respond to messages directly from your lock screen, or hide notifications for sensitive content. Turning on Priority mode through your device’s volume button will allow only certain people and notifications get through. You can also choose to avoid calls from interrupting the game you are playing or the movie you are watching.

9. New Quick Settings: The updated Quick Settings on the notification screen has new handy controls such as flashlight, hotspot, screen rotation and cast screen controls. While these settings were not on older stock-Android devices, they may already be present on other customised Android devices. Similarly, you can manually adjust the brightness for certain conditions, while adaptive brightness will kick in based on ambient lighting.

10. Tap and Go: Tap and Go for NFC devices lets you set up your new Android phone or tablet instantly by simply tapping it to your old one. Whenever you get a new Android phone or tablet, you can sync your apps from Google Play automatically from any of your old Android devices.

As with these updates, there are more other updates like soft key redesign, prioritize apps, quick access to Chromecast, pin apps, and more says Nex-G Skills. Overall, Lollipop will provide a smoother user experience, more usable apps and services and help you manage bloatware.

NFV/SDN Training: Taking a Center Stage on Virtual Networks

NFV Training
NFV/SDN Training
Network Function Virtualization (NFV) is currently picking up momentum within the wireless ecosystem. Mobile operators can take advantage of NFV as new services are introduced. Evolved Packet Core (EPC), Voice over LTE (VoLTE), IP Multimedia System (IMS) and enhanced messaging services, among others, are examples of opportunities to use virtualized solutions.

Big wireless and telecom providers and networking manufacturers, like Cisco, Brocade, IBM, Nex-G Mobility and more have joined together to help and develop a standardized open-source framework for network functions virtualization (NFV). Partners HP and Nokia Networks are now collaborating on a telco cloud solution that aligns with the principles laid out by ETSI. It run Nokia’s Cloud Application on HP Helion OpenStack technology, which includes the vendor’s data center hardware, hypervisor, and virtual infrastructure management, and Manager.

The NFV and SDN Openflow push is also  attracting both traditional and nontraditional telecom vendors. HP announced OpenNFV to help get service providers on board with virtualization. Likewise, Juniper Networks announced a number of offerings that expand on its open, standards-based, SDN (Software defined Network) portfolio, including its Contrail technology. The company claims its new SDN solutions will enable service providers to quickly implement NFV and provision new services.

S.S. Bhowmick, Chief Innovation Officer at Nex-G, announced that company is working on a 5G standard with the goal of making it available for deployment in near future. Experts at Nex-G say NFV technology would hit new heights at the 2015 Mobile World. And it's no surprise that these technologies are generating interest as operators look to ease pressures on their margins by reducing their expenses while concurrently accomplishing more with their existing networks.

Indeed, both SDN and NFV compatible security solutions are expected to shake up the entire landscape when it comes to growth in the sector Network Virtualization. Enterprises and service providers are upgrading data centers to support huge increases in traffic and handle the massive waves of attacks they face every day. As a result, we envision a growth spike in virtual appliance revenue starting in 2016 due to the deployment of the next generation of network infrastructure using SDN and NFV over the next year and a half.

Big Data Hadoop Training Would No Longer Optional for Enterprises Says Nex-G Skills

Big Data Training
Big Data Hadoop Training
CIOs and marketers predict that combining Hadoop with diverse other big data frameworks can create powerful data processing platforms. Since Enterprises turning to Hadoop, "Hadooponomics" will make Apache's open-source big data platform a "must have for large enterprises."

A recent study released by IBM was that, the end user has created over 2.5 quintillion bytes of data. Furthermore , the most important point out of that is more than 90% of data in the world has been created within last couple of years. Any growing organization must look at data center hosting options as a viable solution to an ever-evolving business and IT environment. Whether Big Data Training is a solid solution or a manage services option, the modern data center is the spot that can support changed business needs and evolving IT solutions.

SQL, Cloud, Apache HBase, MongoDB are some upcoming predictions about Hadoop:-

SQL has become Hadoop's killer app:

SQL-on-Hadoop could play a tremendous role for industry, this can "create immediate opportunities for Hadoop to become a useful data platform for enterprises" because they will be familiar to data-management professionals and accessible to existing systems.

Cloud Deployment:

Storage, compute, and networking capacity needs are rarely in sync, so cloud elasticity will be a key to cost efficiency, the report argues. Thus, adopters will increasingly use Hadoop in the cloud to meet demand for ad-hoc analytics.

Apache HBase:

This distributed Bigdata management platform was built around Google’s very powerful BigTable management engine. It was designed to run on top of the already widely used Hadoop environment. As a powerful tool to manage large amounts of data, Apache HBase was adopted by Facebook to help them with their messaging platform needs.

MongoDB:

This another solid platform has been growing in popularity among many organizations looking to gain control over their big data needs. Several big companies are adopting MongoDB training to trained their people for analyzing and managing BigData sets.

Our new “data-on-demand” society has resulted in vast amounts of information being collected by major IT systems. Whether these are social media photos or international store transactions, the amount of good, quantifiable, data is increasing. The only way to control this growth is to quickly deploy an efficient management solution. Remember, aside from just being able to sort and organize the data, IT managers must be able to mine the information and make it work for the organization.

Experts at Nex-G Skills believe that the wave of big data and analytics will become so overwhelming that Hadoop will become the dominate platform in the market. As more Enterprises both in the public and private sectors collect data for the purpose of making more informed decisions to service customers better, this can be next big shift in the technology.

Developing More Vigorous Android and iPhone Apps Using Less Attempts With Nex-G Mobility

Android Application Development
Android Application Development
When we look at the continued success of Android and iOS apps, the attempt of developers yield many wins for these platforms.

One can choose diverse other mobile operating platforms to develop apps, can invest money at the developers, sales team, and more other resources to make an impact over apps industry. But undoubtedly Android and iOS are two of the most justifiable platforms in the Apps market, as these have won mind and the heart of business men and developer community.

Windows operating system is a great rival mobile  operating system, technically capable of doing all your need a smart phone to do. Devices having Windows OS have a sure way of handling UI issues, and the most apps cover the majority of functions consumer would need. I've looked at quite another platforms including Blackberry, Tizen, Mozilla's Firefox OS, Jolla's OS and more, all them are quite performing well, all they have ability to load, run software apps, and upgrade the functionality of the handset you want to expand.

Besides performing well by all platforms, and beyond this is astonishing that a phone's worth is specified not by the smartness of device, but by the platform and the applications it offers. Currently the large developer communities work and develop for Android and iOS platform.

It's not about being the 'best' mobile operating system, but is about how happily develop android apps, iPhone applications, and more that will hold line for each platform. Nex-G Mobility is a leading Android, iPhone Apps development company in India performing well since 2002.

Get the Prizes

Researching fiber optics might be exceptionally remunerating on the grounds that it is currently getting to be more mainstream and hence the interest is expanding. To begin with the engineering without bounds is profoundly subordinate of the fiber optics so as to transmit the enormous measures of information quick, and in excellent and at the most minimal conceivable expense.

The automated innovation today and the phone organizations are utilizing fiber optics where ever they can to give high caliber easily. The old copper wires are continuously supplant to an incredible amplify and everybody profit from it. But since of this tremendous development and the improvement that we will see later on to come there is insufficient individuals to help supply the interest and that is the reason looking into strands optics might be useful to you.

Any Investment Will Do Fine And Dandy

It doesn't make a difference whether you are into the engineering piece of thing or you are more into the administration part in light of the fact that there will be all that anyone could need request in every aspect of this business. The ventures that are going to be made into the optical fiber innovations without bounds are going to be significant and on the off chance that you have a little researcher stowed away within you perhaps right now is an ideal opportunity for him/her to turn out and create something identified with fiber optics.

Nex-G | Skills has launched new training program on OSGi

The OSGi framework is a module system and service platform for the Java programming language that implements a complete and dynamic component model, something that does not exist in standalone Java/VM environments.

Applications or components (coming in the form of bundles for deployment) can be remotely installed, started, stopped, updated, and uninstalled without requiring a reboot; management of Java packages/classes is specified in great detail. Application life cycle management (start, stop, install, etc.) is done via APIs that allow for remote downloading of management policies. The service registry allows bundles to detect the addition of new services, or the removal of services, and adapt accordingly.

The OSGi specifications have moved beyond the original focus of service gateways, and are now used in applications ranging from mobile phones to the open source Eclipse IDE. Other application areas include automobiles, industrial automation, building automation, PDAs, grid computing, entertainment, fleet management and application servers.

Our OSGi training program covers in-depth understanding of OSGi framework, bundle and bundle classloader, bundle manifest, OSGi Compendium services, tools/building, testing and application development.

Nex-G | Skills has launched new training program on C-RAN (Cloud RAN).

CLOUD RAN is an emerging as an important platform for next-generation radio access networks (RANs). Standing for both centralized RAN and cloud RAN, the C-RAN concept is based around the idea of a centralized base band processing pool serving n number of distributed radio access nodes.

Centralized base band processing is primarily useful because it enables better (faster, more granular) coordination of radio resources across distributed access nodes than a classic macro cell architecture. In systems such as LTE and LTE Advanced (LTE-A), where coordinated processing is essential to performance improvements, the capability to manage this centrally rather than via an external X2 interface between base stations could generate important performance gains.

Arguably, the hyper-densification of RAN will, in time, require some form centralized, collaborative processing to reduce and manage inter-cell interference between neighboring cells and across access layers in heterogeneous networks. Looking further ahead toward 5G and to the concept of integrated management of cloud and radio resources, the C-RAN model could become more attractive still.

There are also several secondary benefits to C-RAN. Most notable, from an operator perspective, is reduced opex. With a simpler cell site installation there may be an opportunity to reduce lease costs at the site, for example. And with a centralized server pool there is potential to reduce maintenance and upgrade costs. These are very much second-order benefits, however, and in many markets are not sufficiently useful to justify the complexity of Cloud RAN. Performance is king.

A major outstanding question is the extent to which base band processing can be virtualized and ported to general-purpose CPUs – typically x86-based Intel processors, and perhaps also ARM processors in future. How this is achieved, and the series of interim steps toward this objective, is at the heart of "cloud" part of the C-RAN  discussion. Parts of the base band processing can be ported to general-purpose CPUs today, but Layer 1 functions require DSPs, and will continue to do so for some time.

Best 4G Long Term Evolution technology in india

4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology is often touted as the magic bullet for operators worldwide to address the increase in data traffic on their capacity constrained mobile networks.

As new technology the LTE promises significant advantages over the current 3G technology such as higher spectral efficiency, lower cost of data transmission, faster speeds and lower latencies. However, as with any new technology, there are several challenges ahead for global operators in deploying 4G LTE networks.

So what are these challenges? Fragmentation of LTE Spectrum and impact on number of site The key feature of LTE(OFDMA) to handle multipath propagation without complex receivers but high variations in the amplitude of signals reduces the efficiency of transmitter power amplifier, warranting high quality of installation and accuracy .

The majority of the spectrum allocation is in 2.6GHZ in large part of the world which is required to be harmonized . According to study in different countries, the biggest single problem faced by operators is the range of spectrum bands to support.  The fragmentation is worse in other countries such as the USA, where within the same geography, telcos operate on different frequencies. Verizon and AT&T use the 700MHz band for their LTE networks while Sprint is using 1900MHz and 800MHz spectrum.

A lower spectrum band (e.g. 1800MHz) provides better indoor signal strength and travels further compared to one of a higher spectrum band (e.g. 2600MHz). However, the higher spectrum bands are better suited for covering densely-populated areas and managing heavy data volumes due to their larger bandwidth.

The lower frequency spectrums are more affordable to build and signals travel further, whereas higher frequency spectrums require a lot of base stations to cover a similar distance. This could very well be another possible reason why different telcos around the world use different spectrum bands, besides the obvious fact that they are also limited by the availability of these bands.

 2) Building a new and interworking with current network Another challenge is how operators build up the network. Some carriers like to will build a completely new 4G network along the existing networks.

Other telcos will create a converged network, where they try to make the different generations of technologies work together. In both cases, the process is highly complex and cost intensive. The transition to 4G network will require new radio access technology and core network expansion, while maintaining existing 2G/3G networks alongside the new 4G network will result in additional burden on telcos.

 3) New IP transmission al IP architecture Need to create high capacity IP core network to connect MME(mobility management entity) ,S-GW,P-GW.EPC core network is to be dimensioned for high throughput and low latency for RAN. All the interworking nodes including non3GPP systems is to be re-dimensioned. There is a need to reduce Round trip delay which requires the operator to look into its legacy IP network

 4) Impact on Transmission and radio access network While IMS is recommended by 3GPP,the lack of
maturity and proven deployment in large scale is a big challenge in deployment of IMS operator .On transmission side the major area concerned will be: Operator SDH/IP strategy swap plan. Impact on existing network& conversion on IP transport network.Economic use of backhaul capacity

 5) Return on Investment (ROI) on 4G LTE As mentioned earlier, the migration to LTE or upgrading of existing mobile networks will incur high costs. Moreover, 4G LTE is expected to disrupt the traditional business models of telcos: voice calls and SMS.

 6) Tiered Data Plans To justify the investments in the new 4G networks, telcos have to change their data price models. First, telcos can charge higher prices for their LTE offerings compared to their existing mobile data plans and maintain a higher quality of service to justify the higher premiums. Second, . They should implement "pay-for-what-you-use" pricing models, where consumers are charged based on their usage behaviours. Third, Guaranteed speed, telcos can adopt a value-based pricing model where consumers can pay a premium for a better experience.

 7) True 4G Global Roaming - Fiction more than Reality Due to the lack of harmonization of LTE spectrum bands across different countries, it is almost impossible within the near future to support LTE global roaming. To use a LTE device for data roaming, based on the current worldwide spectrum usage, Wright said that the device needs to support at least 15 bands. From an engineering perspective, supporting so many bands on a device is really tough.

Therefore, Wright believes that for the next decade, 3G data roaming will still be dominant. CONCLUSION In reality it comes out to be that multi technology hybrid complex network will exists in future and will continue for some time, the operator has to have a multitude of technologies and resources to manage the operations.

LTE will be rolled out in the phases which will lead from 200mhz to 2000mhz bandwidth implementation in due course of time to give the consistent time upgradable high capacity technological advantage and sustainability to deliver a seem less service experience operator have to interwork a strategy to manage the technology and network resources for providing end to end service assurance across multiple domain of the network.

Best GSM technology training in india

GSM, word for the very first time used in 1982 and termed as ‘Groupe Speciale Mobile’ under the umbrella of ‘Conference Europeenne Des Postes et Telecommunication’. In a course of time, CEPT evolved into new organization, ETSI (European Telecommunication Standard Institute).

GSM TECHNOLOGY is totally based on 2G TDMA &FDMA, Digital Communication. In 1991, the first derivative of GSM i.e. Digital Cellular System1800 has been introduced which uses the band of 1800MHZ (In some countries also adopted for 1900MHZ).

To overcome various Disadvantages of 1G like low data transmission rate, no security against wireless frauds, voice in analog form, this 2G technology has been introduced.

GSM provides increased capacity, audio Quality, improved security and confidentiality, cleaner handovers, enhanced range of services.

Initially only insiders believed such a success would be possible but later various manufacturers and network operators like CDMA, PHS (PERSONAL HANDY PHONE SYSTEM), DECT (DIGITAL ENHANCED CORDLESS TELECOMMUNICATION) tried to mimic the success of GSM.
